Luke 5:37-39
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is good enough. ’ ”
Don’t be imprisoned by what God did yesterday
I. Grapes Were Wanted And Needed.
The quality of the grapes, determine the quality of the wine
Grapes are picked in their season
Never allow men to blind you from the fact that God wanted you
II. The Grapes Were Washed.
God Gets the GLORY through the process.
There has to be a collision of your purpose and God’s plan
III. The Grapes Were Wounded.
Before grapes can produce New Wine God has to allow us to be wounded and even crushed
It takes pressure to push out of you the juice, the anointing that is in you
What ever is in you will come out through the crushing
The Vine Dresser would crush the grape but not the seed
Crushed seed makes the wine bitter instead of better
This process of crushing is also known as making “Must”
IV. The Grapes Were Winnowed.
It’s the process of separating what you don’t need
The flesh of the grape had to be dealt with
V. The Grapes Waited.
The Wine Dresser takes the wine and places it in a dark place
While you’re waiting make sure you keep worshipping
VI. HOW DO I STAY FRESH.
YOU BECAME OLD WHEN YOU ARE NOT BEING USED!
Taking an old, stiff wineskin that had been used the previous year, and subjecting it to this wrath, made it not only supple and resilient again, but actually produced a wineskin “better than a brand new one,”
IF YOU ARE DRIED AND STIFF YOU NEED TO BE SUBMERGE IN THE WORD AND RUBBED DOWN WITH HIS ANOINTING.
